이번주 금요일(9/8)에 열리는 수학과 colloquium (기초과학연구소,자율운영중점연구소 사업)에 대하여 안내드립니다. 콜로퀴움 ■ 일시: 9월 8일(금) 16:30~17:30 ■ 장소: 팔달관 621호 ■ 강연자: 이정인 교수님 ■ 제목: Introduction to arithmetic statistics ■ 초록 Arithmetic statistics is a new branch of number theory where one studies statistical properties of arithmetic objects in families. In this talk, we introduce the following three topics in arithmetic statistics. No knowledge of number fields, elliptic curves or random matrices is assumed. (1) Counting number fields by discriminant (2) Distribution of rank and torsion subgroup of elliptic curves over Q (3) Distribution of the cokernel of random p-adic matrices 많은 관심과 참여 요청드립니다. 감사합니다.
